SADAQAH

Sadaqah is one of the most important aspects of Islam. Sadaqah is comprised of many elements, but it typically refers to monetary donations given voluntarily with no required minimum amount. Giving back to those in need, especially in your community, is what Sadaqah is all about.

WHAT IS SADAQAH?

It’s the duty of every Muslim to give whatever he or she can. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said, “Charity does not decrease the wealth, and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people)”.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah states “Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Quran 2:274)

HOW WE USE YOUR SADAQAH?

ICNEV is honored and humbled to put your generous sadaqah to good use in some of the surrounding communities that could desperately use it. You can choose where you want your sadaqah to go or ICNEV can use it where it will be needed most. Your donations will be used for things like giving to underprivileged families, providing them with fresh food, water, education, job opportunities, emergency relief, and much more.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding Sadaqah and how to donate to ICNEV.
